QR tools: generator, bulk generator, reader, scanner and size guide
Five QR tools, one engine, nothing uploaded. The generator makes static codes that never expire, the bulk tool makes hundreds of them from a spreadsheet, the reader and scanner tell you what any code contains, and the size guide tells you how big to print. All of it is free, needs no sign-up, and runs in your browser with every code verified before download.
How the QR tools fit together
The generator is the centre of the site. Pick a content type or a use-case page, fill in the fields, style the code if you like, and download it as PNG, SVG, PDF or JPG. Every change is checked by rendering the code and decoding it with a real scanner engine, so the badge under the preview tells you whether the file actually scans as intended.
The bulk generator uses the same engine on a list. Upload a CSV with a header row or paste one entry per line, map the content, label and filename columns, choose a style preset, and receive a ZIP of PNG or SVG files, optionally with a manifest and a printable label sheet. It handles up to a thousand rows and verifies a sample by decoding it.
The reader goes the other way: upload, drop or paste an image and it shows what the code contains, parsed into fields, with links shown as text before you open them. Use it when a code has stopped working and you want to know whether it ever pointed at your page.
The scanner is the reader with a live camera instead of an image, for codes on paper or on someone else’s screen.
The size guide is a calculator and an explanation: enter the scanning distance and the code’s module count and it tells you the minimum printed width.
Everything runs in the browser
None of these tools sends anything to a server. The code is generated on your device, the verification decode runs in a background worker on your device, the reader decodes your image locally, and the scanner processes camera frames without transmitting them. There is no account and no stored history unless you switch on Remember my codes on this device, which keeps codes in your browser only. The how it works page lists the open-source libraries involved, and the privacy policy states the details.
Which tool do I need?
Making one code: the generator. Making many: the bulk generator. Checking a code from an image or a print that has stopped working: the reader. Reading a code in front of you: the scanner. Deciding how big to print: the size guide. To understand why these codes do not expire when others do, start with static vs dynamic.

Frequently asked questions
Are the QR tools free?
Yes, all of them, for personal and commercial use, with no account, no watermark and no limit on downloads. The site is supported by display ads that sit outside the tool area. The codes themselves are static, so there is no paid tier that keeps them working; they work regardless.
Do the QR tools upload my data?
No. Generation, verification, bulk rendering, image decoding and camera scanning all run in your browser. The only network requests are for the page itself, its scripts and, where enabled, ads and cookieless analytics that never see what you typed or scanned.
Can I use the tools offline?
Once you have visited the generator or reader pages, they are cached and keep working without a connection. Downloads still work because the file is built on your device. Pages you have not opened before, and ads, need a connection.
What does the verification badge check?
After every change, the tools render the code and decode it with the same scanner engine used by the reader. The decoded text must match what you entered exactly. If it does not, the badge explains what to change: raise error correction, shrink the logo, increase contrast or remove the gradient.
Is there a QR tool for checking whether a code is dynamic?
The reader. Upload the code and look at the decoded text. A static code shows your destination or data; a dynamic code shows a short address on a vendor's domain that forwards to your page for as long as you pay. If it shows a vendor domain, the code will stop working when the plan ends.
